Victoria's Mega Birthday Celebration

Victoria turned 6 today! Can you believe it?? It just so happened that we had planned a little family vacation for this weekend so it turned into a Mega B-Day Party for our sweet ~~little~~ big girl!
Some of her MEGA party included sleeping in a hotel, opening presents, swimming at the Waterpark, visiting the Mall of America, eating lunch at the Rainforest Cafe, having a birthday treat and singing at the American Girl Doll Store, riding on rides at the Nickelodeon Universe, taking pictures (she got a camera for her birthday), dressing her American Girl in her new outfit (Kenzie bought her one) and more swimming! What a day!

Happy Birthday, sweet girl! We love you!

Touching Temples

We LOVE to see the Temple! As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, we believe the Lord has commanded His people to build Temples. Temples are a sacred place in which we are taught, make covenants and are promised blessings. In the Temple, we can be sealed to our families for Time & all Eternity. Ever since we had kids, our little family has had a fun Temple-Touching tradition. Whenever we make it to one of the 141 Temples (+29 being built), we take the kids to the outside wall of the Temple, so they can touch it. We hope that the kids can feel of God's power & learn to LOVE the House of the Lord. Join us on our little journey of some of the Temples we've touched. May God touch your heart to love the Temple as we do!
